TRANSPARENCY
We believe that our main responsibility is to create desirable items that our consumers value and can enjoy for a long time. As a result, the starting point of our sustainability ambition is that we want to be proud of our products - how they look, their quality and how they are made and used.

SUSTAINABILITY

The Sustainable Apparel Coalition has certified that our textile supplier Duotex Import Export Lda. and its facilities in Maia, Portugal, use the Higg Index to measure and grow its sustainability practice and besides, the Standard 100 by OEKO-TEX® has been renewed and tested in March 2021 for harmful substances.

LABOUR STANDARDS

Arland Project’s collections are produced by suppliers in the European Union (Germany, Portugal, Spain and Sweden) and the US. Looking at order value, 97% of our production is done in the European Union. Europe is a preferred region for us for several reasons. The region traditionally has experience with high end products and social and quality standards are generally high. In addition, suppliers that are closer to our headquarters also make it easier to control our production and to visit our suppliers regularly.

CIRCULARITY

Making a garment that sustains itself, from a quality perspective and as a desirable item, reduces our product’s environmental impact in a life cycle perspective considerably. Design, quality and sustainability are therefore closely connected for us. We want our customers to value our products and be able to use them for a long time.
